If it renames just fine, Sonarr is doing its job, and would seem to be having a problem knowing where to find the new files from your BT client.
Sonarr not renaming files series#
If you can see the existing files, can you choose the "Preview rename for all episodes" feature there? You should be able to manually dump a new file into a series directory, and rename it by choosing this option. When you go to an existing series in Sonarr, do you see the existing files? If not, perhaps that's the problem, Sonarr not knowing where to put the new files because your path is incorrect. Once they are downloaded to one of my local HDDs, Sonar renames and moves them to the folders on my NAS that I configured in Sonarr when I add new series. I see nowhere in Sonarr to tell it where to find the downloads, so it must be getting that info from SABnzbd via the API key that I generated.
Sonarr not renaming files download#
I use SABnzbd as my download client, not BT. If there's a yellow icon in front of the download, hover over it to get details about why it cannot import it. There Sonarr will list any identifiable torrent which hasn't been imported yet. Then, next time it happens, check Activity->Queue. But if the criteria are very low, or Sonarr can't import it for some reason, then it might miss the 'window'. Normally Sonarr will be able to import well before seed ratio criteria are met. If it's removed from the client prematurely, then it won't show up on the api and Sonarr won't know that something is ready for import. As rottl mentioned: Sonarr queries the download client API to determine if it ready for import and where the find the files.

Sonarr will tell qbit to remove the torrent if it successfully imported it and it finished seeding.
